After thirty eight years at the Petaluma Fairgrounds,

the Basque Picnic will now be held at

 Penngrove Park

11800 Main St., Penngrove 94951

 

Because of space constraints and diminishng popularity,

the Bar will be discontinued.

Gates Open.  Picnic is open to the general public.

 

9:45am

Procession followed by a Basque Mass, accompanied by the Elgarrekin Basque Choir, Klika and dance groups. 

 
12:00pm

Barbecued Rack of Lamb lunch with beans, piperade (fried peppers with tomato sauce), salad, cheese, wine, bread.

 
$35 - Price on the day of the Picnic (while supplies last)

 
2:30pm

Program featuring the Zazpiak Bat Klika, Zazpiak Bat Dance Group, Los Banos Dance Group, Zazpiak Bat Gaztea Dance Group.

Directions to the Penngrove Park from San Francisco:

Penngrove Park is approximately 42 miles north of San Francisco.

  • Take Highway 101 North to Penngrove.

  • Take the Old Redwood Highway exit - Exit 476

  • Right on Main Street.

  • Look for the entrance on the right.
